Operational, safety and other needs may require the employee to perform any and all other duties as assigned. + This is not an all-inclusive list of job requirements and/or duties and may not contain all mental and physical capabilities necessary to perform the job at all times due to circumstances. + Oversee and responsible for all paperwork associated with the dock to ensure it is handled timely and correctly by employees + Responsible for proper communication to customers via phone, fax or email + Responsible for equipment assignment and movement (trailers and tractors) in collaboration with other supervisors/management + Review and revise schedules to increase efficiencies and to lower cost + Daily utilization of all Company enhancement tools and processes + Responsible for meeting all KPI's assigned + Administer and carry out assigned portions of the Terminal Business plan as set forth by the Terminal Manager + Involved in and makes recommendations in the hiring and termination processes + Enforce understanding and compliance with all Company policies and procedures safety rules and government regulations + Lead, guide and direct dock employees as needed to include setting targets, monitoring performance, providing coaching, counseling and development Accountable for the management of an efficient, clean and safe LTL operation to include dock planning and set up schedules + Report to Operations Manager /Assistant Terminal Manager and/or Terminal Manager **(Hours are subject to change based on company needs).**
